Gabela, part I

How to get to Gabela? Coming from Luanda, after passing through Porto Amboim and the National Petroleum Institute, take the detour towards Gabela and follow the signs. The trip takes about 4 hours.

Before reaching the city, Cachoeiras do Binga is a perfect place for a getaway. The falls add to a long list of must-see natural spots in the region, such as the Kamoma Lagoon and, of course, the beaches of Porto Amboim and Sumbe.
